Baptism

Oh, what an amazing gathering and event it was! Our entire family, and friends from so many areas of our lives gathered to express their love and to ritualize God's love for our sweet children. Thank you to everyone! There were so many great photos, so our apologies for not including everyone's picture here.

Betsey Beckman danced and blessed the water.
Solomon and Mirabai were both captivated by her, their eyes never leaving her for a moment.

After the baptism of water and anointing with oil, our priest, Carla,
took the children out to be welcomed by the congregation.

As the congregation sang "Wade in the Water", Solomon reminded everyone of their baptism by
sprinkling/dousing them with water by using a cedar branch.
