Last day of preschool

Solomon has attended Klahanie School for three and a half years. It has been such a wonderful introduction to the world of learning. We adore his Teacher Emmy and we are sad to move away before Mirabai gets a chance to have her as a teacher also. On the last day of school, the children march from the classroom down to the garden, sing songs, and end with an opportunity for the parents to get teary:

Five little birds sitting on a wire, The first one said, "I can fly much higher". So off she flew in the sky so blue And the wire did wobble and the wire did sway, And the little birds fluttered, trying to stay, And all was calm ... The last sparrow said, "I'll be back some day", Then all was calm.
